hi all, not sure if this is the place to post but i need to vent some frustrations with ordering a steam deck. FedEx is the absolute worst. steam shipped my first 512GB deck on 7/3/2021. this made it to the Quincy, MA. FedEx Ground facility. this is where the issues began. no tracking updates or delivery after the package was marked as "out for delivery". it … It's poor strategy that reeks of "We are not confident in our product enough to go into mass production", and if you care about the future of the Deck, or a potential Deck V2, you should wish upon a star that they market it to non-steam users, otherwise it's gonna go the same way as the Steam Controller, except the Deck didn't deserve that. Mine was supposed to get here yesterday but there was a blizzard so it got delayed till today. I checked a couple minutes ago and now it says delivery pending. My brain keeps rattling between the stories of delivery drivers stealing them and “the roads aren’t the best.”. The thing is the facility it’s at is like a 15 minute drive.FedEx allows people to send a request to have your package sent to a Walgreens, or Dollar General for pickup. Just gotta have your tracking number & a ID to receive it, and the location you pick can hold it for 7 days. just go to FedEx's website for instructions. The last thing I sent Steam was the tracking after the 8th business day that still showed pending, and another tracking for a FedEx delivery on the same day proving I never got it on the last day they told me it would arrive. Today the Steam Deck box was delivered completely empty and it wasn't even a clean cut on the tape. I caught everything on my nest doorbell camera, the driver plops it on the ground, and not 2 minutes later I'm outside picking it up and immediately noticing that it's as light as a feather and the side flap is just hanging out.
